Birmingham is the largest city in Alabama
(population of 240,000), and it has the cultural, historical
sights to prove it! The Alabama Jazz Hall of Fame is a tribute
to jazz greats with ties to Alabama. Another amazing heritage
site to visit is the Alabama Theatre for the Performing Arts.
This 1927 movie palace is maintained in original form. Built
by Paramount, it now functions as performing arts facility,
and houses largest Wurlitzer pipe organ in the South. Birmingham
is an interesting, friendly place to study interior design
and begin a successful career!
